What does it all mean?

This is a map of Terra Florens, a kingdom from my book, Detective Clover and the Mystery of the Manor. There are ten cities and three parishes. The parishes are coloured purple, yellow, and blue, representing the magical and religiously protected forests in the kingdom. Some bodies of water are left unnamed on the map, but the ones that are named are Languid Lake, Strawberry Lake, Chrysos River, and the Split. The Split is the river which separates the two halves of Dolston, a city on the east coast of Terra Florens. The star in the middle of the water north of Languid Lake represents the Cynosure.

The main character, Clover, starts out in a manor in Palmond Cliff but travels North later in the story. Other characters find themselves in Solle, Palperroth, Carovela, Rosamund, and various other places throughout the story.
